You can’t always prevent your hair from falling out with age, but there are treatments and remedies that can slow down the process. Follow the best hair treatments for men and women

Before you buy supplements and special tonics, look for what promises. The Male pattern baldness which commonly occurs , also known as androgenetic alopecia, is a hereditary trait.  Men whose age is over 50 are mostly affected by this.

Here are some Hair Treatment remedies that you can discuss with your treatment:

    .

1. Prescription and over-the-counter drugs

A US food organization has approved two medicine to treat male pattern baldness: Minoxidil (Rogain): Rogain is available as a liquid or foam over the counter.  Apply twice a day on the scalp to grow hair and prevent hair loss. Finasteride (Propecia, Type) - This is a pill that is taken daily.  You can use it only if your doctor suggest it. For both medications, it can take up to a year to see results and you need to take them to maintain your benefits.

2. Hair replacement

The two most popular hair replacement methods are follicular unit replacement and follicular unit removal:

Follicular unit transplantation (FUT)

FUT is the most "classic" method.  This involves removing several follicles from the back of the scalp where there is a lot of hair, removing the follicles from that strip of skin and then re-inserting the hair follicles into that part of the scalp.

Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE)

In FUE the hair follicles are removed directly from the scalp and replaced in the bald part of the scalp. Keep in mind that a hair replacement is considered surgery, so it can be expensive and painful. There are also some risks, including infection and scarring.  You will have to go through several hair replacement treatments to get the desired results.

3. Laser treatment

Laser treatment can reduce inflammation in the follicles which prevents them from growing on the back. There are limited studies to support its effectiveness in the treatment of hair loss, but a 2016 review of trusted sources has determined that low-level laser therapy (LLLT) for the treatment of hair loss from male pattern is safe and effective.  More research is still needed.
